Default Another dumb idea?

I put my Angel eye switch on the plastic piece to the left of my shifter, and mine (thankfully) doesn't have any buttons. Could i get one from an SSE/i and use the buttons on it to switch the angel eyes? Are they on/off type switches?

You mean for the HUD? No, they're both sliders. (and a little M/E button for changing the units....but that wouldn't carry the current).

Oops. Sorry. I was thinking column.

No, those would be nearly impossible to wire to, even if they carried enough current. You might be able to find an aftermarket switch for the same location, though, or do what I did.

Well i have the supplied two way switch there right now. Mind you, this isn't 55 watts going thru there either, this is just something before the relay they supply.

In that case, with the relay, you should be ok with the TC/perf shift buttons. You'll just have to play around with it to find a set of open/close contacts on the harness.

umm its not that easy to wire things under there as you may think...there is barely any space to mount something like that and there is a board for the buttons that would be there if you had the options (dont wanna short those out)...you can take it apart and look but i dont think you will have enough space to do something in the t/c area plus blank buttons are not spring loaded.
