Amp draining battery.
Wiring diagrams are on the way. When I was checking this on our 89 the meter would show around 1 amp draw when 1st connected. After a few seconds the computer would go into a power saving mode & the amps would drop to .03 or less.
Are you leaving the meter connected long enough?
In you're battery thread you stated the draw was .02, when did it start showing 1 amp?

After I got my new battery.I had someone holding the meter to the cable and post constantly.I will try again when I get a helper.I am working all weekend 12hrs.But I am determined to get er done.
Battery drains could be hard to find. Even a starter could draw current if there is a short inside. Just a possibility as the main battery cable goes to the bendix first and you said you pulled all the fuses.
Try removing the starter cable and see if the meter moves.

Well found my passenger front sunroof drain was draining into front of car and down trough to rear seat.Water wasnt bad as last year I had puddles from drivers side sunroof drain. For some reason the hose comes apart inside body between dash and wheel well, hose isnt a tight connection.Anyways I guess this changes things as far as my parasitic drain, possible airbag connections under seat I dont know.Harness of wires at front passenger feet are in good conditiojn.
Didn't catch your thread before I started mine. Glad to see I'm not alone with this problem.
It just occurred to me after doing some thinking, I have a relay in the fuse box under the seat that is always warm. I don't recall what it is for off hand, but I wonder if this isn't going to the amp & has gone bad & is stuck. If it wasent for the rain pouring down right now I would go double check.

I just came in from garage and my meter is telling me I am 0.2a I may have fixed my draw on the battery by pulling up carpet and drying it and floor, Ive got my fingers crossed and tomorrow Ill go for a drive and check again after seat is in, or possibly it is the connectors for the SIR under seat or seat motor.
Joe I put amp fuse back in and no hissing but I also didnt start car.
