2001 SE - Car stalls while driving!
My 2001 SE has been acting up lately. I guess I should say that I first noticed a problem about a year ago. The tachometer suddenly went straight to zero while I was driving and stayed their. When I got it home I shut the car off and then started it again. The system reset itself and the tach was fine. I thought it was just an electrical glitch because up until about a month ago it didn't do it again. It has been doing it more frequently, but not every time I drive the car, and as before it always resets itself when restarting the car. This past week however, the car has not only sent the tach to zero, but actually shuts the engine off while driving. It has done it twice while approaching a stop sign. It turns right back over once stopped and in park. I was thinking this is either a fuel system related problem, or an electrical problem, but I have no idea where to start. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You may want to start by checking fuse #19 in the under hood fuse box per this thread

Aslo, check and clean your connections to and from the battery paying close attention to the bolt and threads in the body for the grounding strap from the battery to the floor pan.
