Default Airbag light & radio controls

Okay along with the airbag light staying on, none of my steering wheel radio controls work either......so that pop in the steering wheel when I turned it disconnected something......can any body help please....

Seems like I fixed my current problem by replacing the steering wheel sensor.....only to create a new problem.......I'm getting to old for this

Appreciate any help to resolve this new problem I just created, hope it'* just a connection that got disconnected....

Thanks

Your best course of action is to stick with your original topic. If a new topic would have been needed, it would have needed to have gone into electrical anyway.

I removed the lower and upper shroud on the steering coloum, I can see the yellow air bag wire along with some other smaller wries which must be for the radio control buttons........everything is connected to a black plastic circular part, but there must be a place up inside the steering wheel cover where it can be disconnected........ so where do I go from here, how does the rest of the steering wheel come apart so I can see if that is where it is disconnected..........

Can some one please help me with the required repair to get my airbag light to go off and get my radio controls working again

Thank you

You may need to replace the clock spring in the steering wheel...... Same thing happened in my intrepid with the airbag light being on and radio controls, cruise and horn stopped working.. Turned out to be a bad clock spring.........
