Car died at lunch, almost didn't start again, finally got it going after six cranks.....any help?

Turned out to be a fuel pressure regulator. Runs like new now.

WOW!?!?!?! Really? :? We were all way off base with this one, huh?

Oh and thank you VERY, VERY much for posting the "end fix" for your issue. Very helpful for future knowledge for all that are here.

So, the replacement of the regulator solved the electrical hiccups that seemed to be occuring as well?
