Default 97 Bonneville Electrical

I have a '97 Bonnyville 3800 non-supercharged. My problem is when the motor is cold it starts up with no problems, however when you shut the car off and try to start it again..it will not! When driving the car will die. You can jump it..and it still will not start. 4 hours later you can jump it and the car starts right up long enough to get home. Put on new battery cables, new battery, alternator checked..it is good, starter checked..it is good, have good fuel pressure. If you let the car sit for 3 weeks if will start right up and you could drive it all day no problem..start it up the next day..and it is a no go....Does anyone have any suggestions? Besides buying a new car...lol

Is the Check Engine/Service Engine light on? If so please have the codes pulled, most auto parts stores will pull them for free, and post back here before buying anything.

Are you getting spark when it won't start? If not, as a test try running cold water by the harmonic balancer, over the crank sensor, and see if it starts after that.

What would the water do on the H-Balancer? The last time I check I was getting good spark. I'm thinking about the ECM is on its way out.

Hang in on the ECM actually PCM thoughts. Typically they are extremely durable and good.

If you have spark..then your fuel injectors aren't working right? One or the other is keeping you from starting.

If you have no fuel, but good pressure then your injectors aren't cooperating. When this happens.. what is the security light doing? This might be an antitheft system aka VATS experiencing a problem and trying to tell you of an issue.
