Default 95 - Fog Lamps

The fog lamps in our 95 aren't going on. We tested the bulbs, they're fine, the fuse is fine, the light on the switch isn't going on but the lines coming into the switch test fine, as does the switch itself. There are 2 relays that say "Fog Lamp Relay" and "Fog Lamp Disable Relay" both of those are working and we tried turning them on with the disable relay out, it doesn't seem to make a difference and that relay has been in there before when they worked. What could be causing the fog lamps to not go on? or the switch light to not go on?

have you tried bypassing the switch and jump the leads at the connector? how about testing for voltage at the fog lights, and then working your way back until you find power.

99% chance they are not, but are your high-beams on?

You mention the relays are working. Which means they click or you have tested for power coming out of the relays?

First up is checking the fuse for the fogs. Then test for power coming into the pin for the relay. Then check the relay for it relaying continutity through it or replace with a known good relay. Also notice if all the pins in the socket for the relay are in place. (none pushed back or out of the socket).

From there..it'* a matter of the switch or if the high beams are disabling the power.

We've traced the problem to having something to do with the multi-purpose dimmer switch. Something is loose and the switch is causing it so that the parking lights and fog lights aren't going. Going to go under the dash and find it and check the connector.

I saw your other post about the multifunction. In the meantime you could add a ground to the relay (I think disable) to keep them enabled all the time.
