Default 92 bonneville headlight problem

well here is my problem looking for a little help on this. I have a 92 pontiac bonneville and at first when the automatic lights come on the chime on the inside of the car would go off every 7 seconds so what i did i just turned off the auto lights and just turned my lights on manually NOW when i turn on the lights period the chime goes off till i turn the lights off could anybody help me :(

You will need to put your year and trim in your signature.. we don't want the admins getting angry . Do you have any warning lights? Like an idiot light [no i'm not making fun of you ] or if you have an SSE/SSEi on your DIC, anything?

that'* what I'm thinking too fuddy; I had similar problems but, my parking lamps caused it, does your info center show a yellow line on the digital display? if this goes on and off it must be a bad conncection.

My one of my parking lamps wasn't all the way secured and that chiming really got to me! Make sure all your headlights (including High beam lights) are all functional and secured in right and tight.
