I noticed the other day that I had a tail light out on the right side of my car. I replaced both bulbs and the tail lights work fine now. The brake lights don't work on the right side now however. Any suggestions of what is causing this? The only think I can think of is that I may have a bad ground. I checked the fuse and it was fine. I would rather fix this myself then have to fork over my life savings to the dealer. Thank you

You replaced the bad bulbs with the correct dual-filament bulbs correct? If I'm not mistaken there are bulbs that will fit and light that don't have dual-filaments.

They were dual filament bubs. I went ahead pick up a new set of bulbs at o'reilly auto part and put them in and now both my brake and tail lights work. I'm thinking i just might have had a bad batch of bulbs.

I'd be willing to bet that too.
