yes see that "button" on the gague pod....use that for a switch location....and drill the LED'* in the Gague pod, or drill the LEDs into the vent to the right of the upper vent...
can you get a better pic of the HUD pod in daylight? i need to see better pics to see exactly you have to modify and what you have to work with

so far I think the hud pod would fit better on a 92-99.
If you trim the lower corner, that would help a little. Then I think it'* add material time.

and im not so sure that the Fiberglass is the best option...i used bondo for my Pillar Pod and its easire to mold and sand comapred to the fiberglass

I'll figure a good spot to split this, and post a link in this topic back to the other one (which is really going to be this one after the split).
Bondo is great for blending and such. Not for adding material like Paul needs to do. That should be done with fiberglass. You want structural strength for the amount of material he'll need to add.
