im thinking that we need to contact PFYC.com, and ask??

and im with Looong4.....id buy one
PFYC is just a distributer. I know the owner personnaly, he lives in Washington. I would go directly to the source if I were you.
Well, since you know him personally, you might be a good spokesman for the club to break the ice and address the project and it'* feasability and practicality.

I absolutely would like one for the heat venting ability alone!

The SD hoods are open. What you do with the holes is up to you, I believe.

this is correct if you are speaking of the GP'*....they are made to be functional with the addition of the SLP airbox on the GP'*

im sure they could be made to be open to cool the motor with the front and draw the heat out with the back opeinigs

I guess I could be talking about the GAs, but I think they are open also.

That'* exactly what I'd do with it, and what I figured they were meant for.

What'* the latest on the hood herpes date range? Did it get corrected in 04 and up?

I'm planning on a replacement hood eventually. Don't know if I'd add scoops though. I prefer the more stock look. If I did anything other than stock I'd do a scoop like the GP 40th hood or the new model GTO look.
