The SD hoods are open. What you do with the holes is up to you, I believe.

this is correct if you are speaking of the GP'*....they are made to be functional with the addition of the SLP airbox on the GP'*

im sure they could be made to be open to cool the motor with the front and draw the heat out with the back opeinigs

What'* the latest on the hood herpes date range? Did it get corrected in 04 and up?

I'm planning on a replacement hood eventually. Don't know if I'd add scoops though. I prefer the more stock look. If I did anything other than stock I'd do a scoop like the GP 40th hood or the new model GTO look.

So is this idea out the window or what'* going down???

I want one..heck I buy it right now if they had one...we need to find this out if they'll make them
