What colour for Alternator?
Just wanted to get some input about this from you guys...
I'm about to order an alternator from Mr. Alternator. For only $25, they give you the option to have it powder coated. As this sounds like fun, I figured I might go for it, but I can't decide what colour to go. THe obvious choice would be red, but might that not be too bold for my blue 98? Other option would be blue, as this is a traditional Olds engine colour.
Here'* a link to their site:

Anyone seen their work? Any thoughts?

if you start a color theme under the hood i would keep it consistent throughout the car and engine, that way it will all go together nicely

Don't buy your alternator yet. We had a failed group buy that we're going to re-start when our former Treasurer refunds the money to two other people.
You'll get a discount if you hold on for a couple days.
The alternator you see in my Zilla pics is from them (4 years ago) but I painted it myself.

Yeah it'* pretty much up to you, whatever color theme you want to start up is what you should select. Personally, blue is my favorite color so I choose that color.

most of the time the easiest colours to get stuff in (wires and whatnot) are the three basics. Red Yellow and Blue. even though my car is blue i am going red underhood, since i plan on painting the car flat black. it'll come together nicely.
