Default Vent Cleaning

I've been trying to think of a good way to clean the vents in my cars... more specifcally the 91.

I have a big air compressor at home... if I blew into the vents it would probably clean them. But I don't want to push the stuff back IN the vents.

How can I get access to the opposite end of the vents to blow air OUT of them?

(or does someone have a better idea on how-to clean them)

PS.... I just did the Evap cleaning to my 91.... she'* blowing air again. Not much, but at least there is movement.

Let me start with: Ive never done this.

But, it seems to me that if you had the blower on, you would loosen the stuff stuck to the vent with the high pressure air, and the blower fan would keep it moving out of the vent.

I also seems like a good way to require a interior cleaning as well. :(

Good luck.

Try a vacuum instead of an air compressor.

Grab a paintbrush. Make sure you get into the corners of the vents so that it'* a complete detail.

/ tip from someone who professionally details cars.

on my 97 you can take the dash part off which makes it easy to use a rag to wipe them down.
