I am curious about the underbody of my 2002. Is it galvinized? It looks like it to me. How good does it resist rust over time?

yes sir, it sure is galvanized! it does a pretty decent job resisting rust IMO. I had a G body car before my aurora that was 7 years old and it had no rust at all on the underbody to it and it was a michigan car all its life. (we use lots of salt here during teh winter)
