Nice to know someone else is anal under the hood like me...though mine needs much more work still!

But I think I just found out what I want to do with my valve covers (minus the red stripes)! What paint did you use on them? EDIT: The answer is probably in that link...going to read now.

EDIT X2: Not there. What paint did you use on the covers? I used a "cast iron" engine paint on the plastic piece that hides the wire harness over the SC...but it did NOT take well to the plastic. I will have my valve covers off this Saturday and if I am going to paint them I should do it then, but I need a paint that will cover the valve covers well. Not sure where I can get ceramic clear coat by Saturday though. :?

Nice...thanks. Where can I get my hands on ceramic clear coat by Saturday, or should regular clear coat work fine for the covers? Thanks again.
