I aim to please.

This is really just time-killing in between porting and polishing all the top end pieces. If something is drying or soaking, I kill time by doing the detail work.

Paint the part color first.

Laser engrave through that paint and into the plastic (like my 'tuner box' last year).

Mask off the main part, leaving the text area exposed.

Paint the text color into the depressed text to nearly fill it.

Peel off, and wet-sand down.
