Default Teaser shots of things to come (56k, haha)

So.. a few months ago, I mentioned I was working on a custom engine cover. This has been a pretty elaborate project for me that I've picked up and dropped a bunch of times. This weekend, I'm finishing the painting and gluing hopefully.

HEY! How'd he get in there

Little more tease.

I've taken alot of photos during the whole process and I'll be including measurements of the panels so people can reproduce this modification if they want.

Tools used:

Dremel
Rotary cutting wheels
sanding wheels
sand paper
files
wire cutters
hot glue gun with high temp resistant glue

(BTW for those who attended NEBF 2, that'* the same gutter guard that Jimbo bought with Lux for his grill.)

Copying something is the ultimate sign of respect.

I'm not too creative when it comes to things like this. I saw something I liked and wanted to put my own flair on it. I wanted to keep it the engine cover on, but not trap heat under there.

looks more like engine floss instead of an engine cover.

When I test fit it with the grills, the integrity returned.
