Haha.. I ruined my wheels!

Nah, got two of them done this afternoon when I got home from working. Ran out of time so will do the passenger side another day. Since you can't see both sides of the car at the same time it doesn't look too horrible having mismatched wheels for the moment lol.

Here are some more quick pictures I took after I removed the masking to show the side that is done and the side that isn't. It is very subtle, yet the end result turned out really nice. Photoshoot/whorage soon to come! More mods in process though so want to wait til they are ALL done before I ***** it out..there may even be one or two spotable in these pics....

nice job!!!!! "Tinting" those wheels really completes all the other "dark" compliments you've made to the car. Very sharp!!!!

What is the brand and color of paint that you used? Looks pretty sharp.

You've got a really good eye bro. None of your cosmetic mods have been drastic but suttle, and just in those small changes you've really made your car stand out. If we had a creativity badge im sure you'd get it.LOL

The paint I use is BASF Diamont.

It is not an actual color, it is a custom mixture of toner 403 black and standard clear coat, reducer, hardener.. I have been using this mixture to do all the tinting that you see on my car including the headlights, fog lights, SLE emblems, tail lights... If I would have just painted it, there would be no chrome shine comming through, however the way I did it allows the chrome to still be seen, but gives it a black chrome appearance.

Hope that answers your question!

And glad everyone likes it. Going to try to finish up the other two wheels today!
