Default Shaving The Tailights?

Has anyone thought about shaving the red part from the taillight then fabricating a led type light to he bottom amber/white part

so your saying just to have a thin strip of lights where the Turnsignal and the reverse lights are????

its possible....alot of work to fill and smooth the tails

yea thats exactly what i am talking about then tint that strip along with the center iece with the PONTIAC emblem
