When it comes to exhausts the tips are mainly for looks. If you want to change the sound or how loud your exhaust is you should look into different mufflers and such.

Tips are such a tiny factor in performance and sound, they are considered a cosmetic change.

I prefer the looks of the rolled tips over the straight cut. They do make some resonator tips that change the exhaust tone slightly. But if you are looking for a noticably different tone, then you need to look into a muffler, like these guys said.

I really don't mean to ruin this topic or anything, but I've tried so many tips, and I have come up with ones that change the exhaust tone the most.

These made the exhaust more pronounced but uglier. I second the earlier post(*) about rolled tips, if you think it makes enough of a difference.http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...fun+resonators

My tips honestly made my exhaust noticeably louder. Dual dual rolled tips 2.25 inch.
