Default Removing upper window trim '05 GXP?

I want to remove the upper plastic window trim from my '05 Bonneville GXP. Has anyone done this before? I don't want to break these things.

It'* the black plastic trim along the top of the door. I want to pull these and wetsand, primer, and paint them. I prefer painting over applying a black vinyl sticker or something.

did it when i stripped my doors down when i parted my car. takes a while to get those pieces out. basically have to take almost everything out of the door shells to get those pieces out. have a bunch of 7mm sheet metal screws that hold them in place around the perimeter

Ugh so maybe it'll be easier to mask off and work with it on the car.
