0000 steel wool and metal polish will do the trick nicely

get a good foaming glass cleaner and some 0000 steel wool, and use that.

spray on rub with the wool, wipe dry

and the steel wool will not scratch the glass? What about the inside, I don't want to damage the defrost grid?

no it will not scratch, aslong as you get the finnest grade (0000) as for using it on the inside, im not 100% sure but I would think aslong as you rubed in the same direction as the grid using the fine stuff, you should be golden

The 0000 steel wool on the outside is ok to use. Do not use it on the inside. You may damage the defrost amd FM antenna grid.

I have also used the Zaino Z-12 glass cleaner on a 4in pad with my PC ROB. Worked really well.

Do you have problems with water spots from your home water supply?
