The red looks a little dark compared to your red painted components when its not hit by any light. Might just be the picture since I believe it was too bright out for the flash to go off but if it does look a little on the dark side with an overhanging light or the sun, you might want to see if the stock hood light fixes that with the lights on. Otherwise maybe some lighting mods might be in order. Just a thought though, it might look better in person in the sun. Otherwise I repeat that it looks fantastic.

In true daylight, the red really pops. That'* the brighter of the two reds I played with. The engine bay light doesn't show it at all.

On a side note, the last few days of rain don't seem to have even gotten it damp on either side, so I suppose all my sealing of both sides and waterproofing may have been wasted effort.

Sorry, Padwan. I mistakenly used JB weld to lubricate the 11 retainers that hold the hood insulator in place. They really went in with minimal effort, but I'll be DAMNED if they'll come out again.

Odd. Very odd.

I'll send you home with the templates on CD.

Assuming you don't snore on the evenings of the 8th and 9th.
