rad overflow resovoir
Help! How in the He## do you clean the goop out of the inside of this thing??? I'm in the middle of a real mess! What works best and what tricks do you use????

Expert Gearhead
2 cans of brake clean or some simple green..
Take res off car..empty..
Flush w/water quick..drain.
Add cleaning agent..and a rag... put hands over openings and shake vigourously.
Repeat til clean..
Flush with water extremely well..Put clean tank back on car.
Take res off car..empty..

Thanks Jim. I searched topics and your post came up. I got out my simple green, high pressure hose, an old t-shirt and some brake cleaner. Did the swishing trick and got it cleaned up nice and pretty for this weekend in Ohio! Thanks again for the tips boys.....turned my chaos into a pretty good job!
