It was necessary to remove the salt/sand & restore the shine!

Found a coin power wash & Under the hood and below, I started w/ the subframe all around. Had to do this twice !
Notice the pile of sand that blew off below the car..lots came from wheel wells too.

Continued under the hood especially around the firewall & sides, now looks fresh again.

The rims were disgusting & I used a heavy duty rim cleaner with a quick tooth brush scrub, and hand washed the exterior.
In the warm sun now, at a rest stop after the power wash, we are good to go again.

This pic highlights my trip & makes it all worthwhile.
