I wonder if the better quality paint you used caused that. Whereas we all use cheap spray cans and seem to be ok.

i have had my bulbs painted with a paint marker for more than 2 1/2 years with no problems.....i have the silver paint marker, get some bulbs and we can hook you up at NEBF

I've done my corners for a year, haven't had THAT happen... WIERD!

I have tried to use LED corner 194 bulbs and rear LED turn signal bulbs. Both would act up and wouldn't function correctly. isn't there some type of solinoid or inverter to make them function properly?

the stock turn signal flasher is load dependant, so you need to replace that. if that is what you mean. otherwise they should be plug and play.

we should really make a new topic for the LED talk, and stop hi-jacking peterg'* thread.

You guys are lucky enough, and just pick up a Tridon electronic flasher at any auto parts store for about $12. The flasher in my jeep is like $80.

Anyhoo, if you get one of those flashers, LED'* will blink at the same rate because the flasher uses a relay, and a timer circuit, not a bi-metal strip.

Those dual-color LED'* look neat, I just have white ones in my jeep, though, they are a bit too blue for me.

Now, as far as silver bulbs, if you dont wanna do the ebay thing, you can get silver bulbs from www.audolumination.com they have most types there.

Their prices for chrome/silver bulbs look a lot cheaper!
