mixed up some paint at work (silver with a blue flip) here'* some pic, they speak for them selfs
new bulbs scuffed to help paint adhear

I use RM Diamont (BASF) basecoat/clearcoat, i mixed a costom color just for doing the bulbs (have lots extra BTW )

I know it costs a little more, but I opted to buy some silver bulbs on ebay:


Maybe it could work for you if you can't find the right paint...

And who gave you the idea???

Mine have been painted for quite some time (longer than PDad), just using good ol' Krylon. Theres a little cracking, maybe due to the buls being a bit dirty when I did them, but they are still a nice pertty silver....
