Painting it makes it look too much like the Ford Focus'* rear end

I even did a photoshop on this GXP, and I think it looks great. I'm starting to think it must just be me though?

has a small resemblance to a Dodge Charger

I think painting it cheapens the look of a great looking car...

Your mock up looks more like a Chevy Cavalier - a cheap car...

Hmm.. I guess if I do paint it, it will be good that I have a spare so I can switch it back to stock when I get rid of the car then, since there doesnt seem to be anyone else that cares for it.

In my opinion the rear of these cars are kind of ugly from the factory so I just wanted to try something different. I think painting it makes it look more clean and gives it a better look vs having that huge waste of a reflector on the back. Tinting it is a great way to clean up the look and hide that reflector also.. take a look at a black car with that whole section tinted/blacked out..that looks nice doesn't it?

I dunno, I just want to do something to get rid of it and the tint option would look odd I think on this color car..

We will see I guess.

I like the whole tinted look. But I like the fact that you show many different ideas. That'* how awesome cars are born.

Thanks!

Well I am bidding on a rear center section right now.. if I don't win it I probably won't paint the rear section, if I do win I am going to go ahead and do it.

I want to be unique, and I have never thought I was one to have bad taste, however I just won't know what it will look like until it is completed, so I will reserve my judgement and see if I like it once it is done, if it doesnt look good I will go another route

^^ That looks real nice. Definately better than the stock rear.

I have decided not to paint it. Seems like No-body thinks it would look good, so I will just leave it I guess.

Thanks for the opinions.

Not trying to rude this thread...

I cleared my headlights and I can't seem to get the rubber gasket that goes around the headlight back on. Is it important to have that on?
I am able to tighten the headlight and secure it but there is that gap from the hood to the light where the gasket is.
