I think they are comin off....I destriped the trunk tonight and it looks MUCH better.


it is not easy to see from the pics but they did a HORRIBLE job on the fenders...plus the striping is chipped in a lot of places.


right now it looks like my old car...not to bad I might leave the stripes for a while:

Oh contrare Bill. The slightly raised surface of the tape will create a tubulence in the boundary layer and the resulting "lift dump" will help keep the car from flying. Of course this effect will not be noticable till you reach transsonic speeds 650-675 mph.
Seriously, I vote for nixxing the stripes on this color. The blowdrier and adhesive remover is how I got them off my black '94. You may notice "ghost stipes' for a while because that paint hasn't been microscratched yet.
