Most of the incidents I posted above were also hubcentric.

You may want to reconsider before you damage the rims and destroy their resale value.

Half the incidents above are Chrysler 300C'*. Which are also hubcentric FWD'*.

I wonder why many Grand Prix'* seem to have good luck with them? I was surfing some of their forums, (i.e. clubgp) where there are many users. Some have been running bullits fro 4+yrs, with multiple wheel changes (street tires to drag radials). Luck maybe?

Unfortunately, I'm stubborn. So I've just gotta try them to find out.

LOTS of guys on CGP run them without issues. Lots of members here run them without issues.

I'd never even consider a 5-114 wheel though.

Please realize, WillWren and others are posting and repeating the safety concerns because they are safety concerns. Part of this club is ensuring the advice given is the best possible to our knowledge.

There is a safety issue that has been found and while we can find cases of there being no problem swapping to the incorrect size, there are many documented cases were the change caused damage, accident or personal injury.

We hope you enjoy them and all works out well, however the warnings do stand for others that may search the thread.

Yeah, I need to wash it tomorrow and get some more pics. So far so good. I swapped out the old steelies for my new ones in the hour before I had to go to work. Took it for an extended spin after work. She rides as smooth as ever cruising at 100mph, so I'm pleased so far. I will check the torque on them over the next few weeks until I'm comfortable that they are tight.

I'd also be curious to see those on a black '96-'99 car with their more curvy style.
