I've never ever ever ever ever taken it to the gas station car wash with the spinning scratch creator things. I've always washed mine by hand or brought it to a detailing shop to hand wash it. I used to work at one so I know exactly whats done and what they use. Unfortunately, I dont wash my car as many times as you guys do, but when I do, I make sure its done right.

I only wash it once a month because that about all I use the thing otherwise it sits in a storage unit(parents are resident managers and thus live on site) as for how its washed I tend to always hand wash it just an old habit and don't like to be around idiots at car washes

Yeah, I hate those too. We have an automatic wash that'* touchless. It uses water pressure and detergent to remove dirt. The only drawback is in heavy salt build-up you need two washes to get it totally clean.

From now on I don't think I'll ever look at my car and think "why bother" without thinking of what you said and running off to wash it as fast as I can...trying not to picture dirty butts...

I just washed my car today...*phew*

In the summer I've been known to wash my car 3 times a week. But now I wash my car once or twice every couple weeks, but spray the under carriage at least once a week with high pressure water. It'* not worth it to wash it with all this damn salt on the roads, it'* depressing to drive home from the car wash and have it look almost as bad as it did before I washed it. At least I have 2 coats of wax on it that help keep it protected.

I personally wash my car about once a month if it were up to me I would do what Will does and drive really fast. But my son washes both of our cars at least once a week, twice if time allows. He is really meticulous about our cars looking their best.
