Default How to...

I've read posts where people say they're removed the coil packs to clean the engine. How do you do that?

You don't need to remove the packs to clean the engine. If you are worried about them, put a plastic bag over them.

Otherwise each pack has two screws holding it on..or three bolts hold the whole tray on.

If hosing them makes the engine studder then it'* time to look at the wires and coil packs. All should be sealed from the elements.

When I clean my engine ... everything gets a thourogh hosing.

same here, the wires and coil packs shouldnt be affected by moisture unless they are on their way out already...
