I just bought a used 96 bonneville SSEi at an auction. It has high mileage but im not worried about the engine cuz i know where to find one at. I need help on findin body kits, dashboard/ or upgrades for dash, custom or stock senter consoles, and hoods. I was never a fan of the bonny till i saw it roll thru the auction and i see it has potential. Can anyone help me out?

you might not wanna hear this...but you asked

you picked the wrong car

1996 = no upgrades for PCM

body kits = what u got is the best u will find
dashboard = best u can find is the blue glow gauges on ebay... otherwise, do-it-yourself
center console = do-it-yourself
hood = nobody currently makes hoods for us...once again, do-it-yourself

BUT... you can get many engine upgrades. There are a few styling things you can do. Clear corners, angel eye fogs, neons, HID, contact GAMEOVER about bagging it. Haro is your man for changing interior light colors.

Look around. You will see what we can do and not do to our rides.

And Welcome.

Just be patient, you'll be a bonny fan soon. You've come to the best website for Bonnevilles in the free world. There are many mods that can be accomplished on your car. Put some pics of your bonne up for us to see. How many miles on it?

thanx for all the information. i recently heard that a couple different years of an eclipse body kit will fit my ride but not sure...just a rumor to me so far. As for my engine, it has over 210,000 miles on it and that is why me and 2 of my friends who are mechanics are going to help me rebuild the engine and i am considering very much so on givin it a 5 speed transmission also. Sorry, but i dont have any pics at the moment. And i dont have a scanner so the only pics i will have (when i find my camera) will be digital, so the pics most likely wont be clear. As of right now, the color of the car changes in sunlight. Most of the time its a dark green but when you look at it right it appears dark blue-ish purple, and the windows are tinted so that you can barely see in. Also there are a couple scratches on the body but easly fixable. ill be happy to post up pics of my car as a fix it up, when i find my camera.

Eclipse kit? Not a chance in hell. There'* no way it'll fit without some MAJOR expensive modifications. Your best bet is custom from the ground up.

5-speed? That'* alot of money. Thousands. What trans are you planning to start with, and how are you going to do the PCM?

I'll move this topic for you (out of the Mechanical section).
