Default HID'* Need to Upgrade Battery?

I have a Interstate MT-75 Series Battery in my '92 Bonnie yet, I am about to install an HID kit should I upgrade the battery to something with more CCA'*? (I.E. Interstate MTP-75)

To Upgrade or Not to Upgrade thats the question!!

Well the battery only really matters when it comes to starting the vehicle and if you are close to maxing out the altenator'* output.

I should know this as we install Interstate batteries at my shop, but whats the CCA rating of the MT75 your using?? IIRC OE is 600CCA. I always shove a Group Size 78 in my cars where there is room if it calls for the Group Size 75

35W HIDs use less power and generate less heat than 55W halogens.

the heat arguement is still ongoing. My headlight housings get pretty hot from my 35w HID'*, but OEM bulbs seem to only make the housings warm

For the HID'* you won't need a new battery, just get a wiring harness so you can supply them with the power they need. Like all HID'* when using them they expose the weakness in the stock wires. Best of luck!
