I know some halogen projectors react better to HID'* than others, but I have no idea which ones. You're still changing the location of the point source of the light in the projector bowl, so it could have an effect on the pattern. I'd be willing to bet it'll still be way better than a regular reflector headlight though.

Heres how HIDs look in my Fog light Projectors i got a while back.

They have a great Cut off and have no glare.
The projectors i used are the Blaszer ones off ebay. I love them. Rob has them and so does someone else on BC. But i got the Clear ones not the Blue/Yellow ones.

Stock with 50watt 891'* (ithink that the right model)

Not with the HID'*

This is the same Shuttle rate and same setting on the camera.

any of the glare you see on the second pic is from he Wet ground. on dry ground there is non of that.

so theres one option for people that want to get HIDs but also want to be safe and have good light output.

The Projectors cost about $35 shipped.

Yep, TWO sets for me

Gotta say I'm liking them! Although, I'd still recommend them more for the SE body style though in terms of looks. corvettecrazy and I were talking about it, and I think it has to do with the fact the SSEi lights are closer to eye level, and my appearance mod doesn't work quite as well for that bumper.

OK, back on topic

Damn, and I just sold a set of factory Foglamp projectors AND HID Projectors.

Benefits of working for a company that designs and manufactures FACTORY HID projectors = FTW.
