Um that was defintatly never an Bonneville option, ever.
I would think in harsh weather conditions, say -40F to 125F you would see warpage from hell lol

I don't doubt that it CAN be done, I just hadn't seen it before. You MAY be the first here at BC. In which case, make sure you keep us all posted WITH PICS if you do it.

I have an idea though. Maybe google search. You might find something on one of the old restoration sites. I know that they do stuff like that for some of the old restored cars.

I would assume you remove the carper, then get either Laminate hard wood floors, or you buy real hard wood flooring and begin measuring and cutting. Securing it would require glue and as stated before, the harshness of the weather might hurt it/ cause it not to last a long time. On a show car that only gets driven to shows in fair weather it would be easier to keep.

Now that would be something cool to see. I've only seen that in the beds of show trucks that are only used for hauling ***

Well, I am in Rochester, NY originally from Binghamton, so I go through Syracuse a lot. If you need anything, feel free to ask, as we have a lot of knowledgeable people that are willing to help. And if you need any parts, let me know as well, cause I got a lot of those.
