Default Glass etching...

Anyone try glass etching? I was thinking someone could make up some templates for glass etching. I was looking at my Bonne today, and I noticed that "SSEi" etched into the glass would look VERY nice. Anyone ever try it? I would be (and probably a few others) would be interested in templates.

I would expect that where you live is similar to where I live, in that there is likely a local shop that could do it for you pretty reasonably.

there is also a different version of etched glass vinyl that I can get that does not have sparkles in it, it is only hazed looking.

Actually, I am looking to make it permanant. I am willing to do it myself, as I have already called places that do it, and they want $29.99 per etched item. I can buy a kit for $14.99 and do it myself and save $$.

A friend of mine used to do it himself. He said it wasn't hard.

They make masking vinyl, just never tried it with etching solvent. Just paint.
