Has anyone installed any chrome exhaust tips on their car?

We have one member who has chrome dual circular tips. Only one I can think of at the moment.

There'* been a few that have does them, I'm one considering it. Make sure you get double chrome, otherwise it will rust threw real fast.

If you can get your hands on some SSEi tips and polish them real good then clear coat them, you'll have some sparking and resilient exhaust tips that look great.

i cheated i bought the exhaust off of a GXP

Are the exhaust tips on a 2003 SSEi stainless steel and if so what is the best way to polish them. TIA

Yup, that is my car in that link.. they are Stainless Steel tip though..not chrome..

I would stay away from chrome..as they will pit and rust..stainless steel are MUCH better..will cost you more, but are worth it.

Polishing the newer tips only result in discoloration pretty soon, even trying to clear them. I've seen tons try and it always ends the same.

Picked up ebay SS tips in 06 and they still look great
