The first video looks like an R/C Car body.

Seems like a good idea to spray on this seemingly lighter chrome than to make a true nickel plated RC car. You get a longer battery life and lighter parts in general! Now, if only it were a Bonneville, we could eek out some more life from this thread with probably a few celebratory comments. Too bad...

...the weight savings would only be veryh very minimal if any. r/c "lexan paint" for those bodies, goes on the inside of the body (they come clear) so it'* shiny outside, the paint shows thru.
