I just compared EGRs. They appear to be completely differant. The inlet and outlets are on differant sides. The old egr has 4 pins, the new one has 5. Looks like a big problem. Ill try to post some pics now if photobucket lets me, dial up you know

ok, yeah, thats the digital egr. you can use a base from the 92-93 L67 engines.

i was just thinkin about that. that may be different.

as far as the tube, i believe it will bolt right to the base. but my concern would be the length of it.

Does the egr tubing come off the front manifold or the rear like the old style? Ive got the old style tubing and the new style as well, but Ive got the rear egr manifolds, if I dont need the new style then I can get away with using the original manis.

no, the 92-93 L67 egr bases are fed from the front manifold. so you would need the later EMs. and considering the porting on the heads and LIM, you are gonna want to port the EMs as well.

Looks like its back to the jy. Do you know offhand what size bolts the EGR plate uses? That way I dont have to bring a lot of just-in-case tools.

13/15mm.

BTW, you mention ported heads, but I still see carbon deposits in your exhaust ports.
