Has anyone ever painted their whole engine carpet one color? Like all red or silver? That would look kind of neat I would think. Might be to tacky, I would have to see on first.

I'd be scared it would burn off... but I guess VHT might not.

I think a large solid color would look really tacky.... and would be really hard to keep clean after a while.

I would think it would be hard to keep clean and the added color would show the dirt more?

A good paint though should be able to protect the carpet and take the engine heat. The carpet will no doubt wick the paint in the fabric leaving a permenant tint that may last forever?
