Gunk foamy engine bright. Or Simple Green. Or a citrus solvent. There are many favorites. Plan on some brushing too.

Don't cover anything. I never do. Except my exposed K&N filter.

Do you know how much road spray gets on your engine when you drive in the rain?

I use the Gunk stuff to clean, with a toothbrush where needed.

I maintain it with CD2 engine detailer occasionally (great stuff - find it @ amazon.com).

I also put a plastic bag around the filter. You can hose down the engine that way with no problems. Just don't spray water directly into the alternator.

Just a small comment on the cleaning. I got some solvent into the rear bearing of my alternator and then it started cracking and such...I would recommend just keeping the moisture on the alternator to a minimum at all costs.

Mine is definitely not this clean anymore. That salt somehow finds its way into engine bays. So here yah go.

The strut bar is a direct swap from any 92-99 H body into yours. Don't over-torque the upper strut mounts. Specs are in Techinfo.

A traditional filter for your car should go straight to the side just like your stock box. But you'll want to heatshield it.
