I will be putting on a Flowmaster 80 Series Crossflow muffler, and I want some good looking dual exhaust tips that will result in quads. However, I don't like how subtle some SEs look on here with their exhaust tips sticking out under the bumper. I dig the way the SSEis look with the cutout for the tips. I took a pic of my car (since its @ the trans shop, STILL) and looked at it, and it looks like a very similar bumper, just the SSEis have cutouts for the tips.

How could I blend mine in a little more once I have dual tips? Could I cut the slots out and line it with some of that black trim stuff you can find at Walmart to make the cut look less obvious? I'm looking for suggestions a few months before I actually go ahead and do this (I plan on adding most of the mods around Dec.) Thanks!
