Default Door Trim Change

Does anybody know how the black molding/ door trim comes off, and are the 92 and 99 the same. I'm talking about the long black trim by the windows. Thanks

The vertical pieces? Behind and in front of each window?

There'* a screw at the bottom on the inside, then they slide up. GM still sells these new for relatively cheap. I've replaced a couple.

I can get a pic if you need it.

Bad-nasty weather out there right now. I can tell you it'* easier if you have one in your hand already. I ordered mine first, then saw where the screw hole was. You have to lower the window and pull out the 'felt' weatherstripping seal from the channel. Then you'll see the screw. It'* either at the top or bottom, from the outside.

You can't break them. They're steel.

Roll down the window and gently pull the window weatherstripping out of the channel. You'll find the screw. After the screw is out, slide them up. You may want to prelubricate them with some rubbing alcohol between the trim and the rubber seal.
