Oh, this just keeps getting better. This is an ebay first for me after 7 years of transactions. The guy is sorry, that he didn't know they weren't factory wheels because he took them off of his Bonneville. Although i offered to pay to ship them back and chalk it up to lessons learned, he won't take them back or refund the money because he is having financial difficulties. He hopes I will understand. You would think the guy would know the rules.. He has 70 transactions and 100% positive feedback.
I will give him a chance to reconsider his position. It these aren't factory wheels, there'* at least a dozen things that could be wrong with them. The only way i can really tell is to swap them onto the Bonneville. i don't have the inclination or money to try an experiment on his behalf.
This is going to be a real pita, but I'm not going to be the one grabbing my ankles.

Ouch! That hurts!
Stick with it and remain civil (that way at least your blood pressure will remain normal, lol). You'll get it done.
BTW, a guy at my work has a Chrysler with the golds on it. As soon as he gets back in, I'll check it out and verify for you, as backup info.
Maybe take a pic...

Thanks. Check those wheels out. These wheels really don't look that bad. There is one tiny product mark on them, it looks like a scripted "mc" or "mr" or "ttl" below the center hole. I googled around, but couldn't find any company with that moniquer.
