It'* not going to be super super cool but it'll be cool and very practical. I think I should have it done by next week. I'll post pics here when I finish it and when it'* upholstered.

well as far as the plastic ideas are concerned i MIGHT be able to get you some fiberglass reinforced plastic... the place i work at has TONS of it that we just scrap. its strong as he**... (the stuff that Toyota makes their truck box with). anyhow, that would be what i used if i was to build something like that.

As Bandit said, I have bench seats too even though they look like bucket seats to me. I'm only doing the front because I need storage space, I like storage. My glovebox is full of crap and I need to place that crap somewhere else.
I'm not going to put in anything electrical, I don't like anything involving electric, esp after that Dodge Ram of that one member caught on fire.

Heres a good site I have in my Favorites Vault. Yes anyone can buy off this site, you just cant buy the official things like lights and sirens and things like that, but consoles YESH!!
http://www.galls.com/style.html?asso...og&style=VE013
They have many others too. Just go to the top left corner in the search bar and type "Consoles"
EDIT: These are deisigned to fit Crown Vics and the like, but it sure would be easier to modify the already made console than to make one from scratch.
