Hi everyone I picked up a clay bar kit and I am going to atempt it today any thing I should know before I do it any help would be great thanks

Use lots of detailing spray, dont rub the bar on dry paint. Turn the clay bar often and work it with your fingers.

I've used clay magic (blue) and a yellow one not sure who makes, but the yellow one sucks in my opinion, clay magic is super.

I used the yellow bar by Mothers and I was impressed with it. It left a real nice shine on the car. Takes a little elbow work though to use it. Keeping the car moist with detailing spray is a big part of it too.

I picked up a Mothers clay bar kit yesterday. I might tackle that project either today or tomorrow depending on how eager I feel.

Be damned sure you don't set that clay on anything! Bring a plastic baggy out, so you don't have to set it on a counter even.

without the lube it will make the problem worse. Its probably better to have too much than too little. Do a search on google for some tips, they can teach you alot.
