quick clay bar question
ive searched and tried to find out if clay barring is like waxing, in that do u have to do it in a shaded area or does it not matter? its unclear as to how it should b done

Definitely do not do it in hot, direct sunlight. If you do you will need a lot more lubricant to keep the clay from sticking to the paint.

Nothing at all like waxing. Claybar is used to remove contaminates from the surface of the paint normal washing doesn't get

no i know exactaly what clay bar does, i was just wondering if it was like wax, and it is in the fact that it cant be applied in direct sunlight...
and dont worry about the whorage...im gonna b cleanin my car all day friday or saturday as soon as i get back from college since she'* been sittin without me since september...im goin the full 9 yards...wash, claybar, wash, polish, and wax

Do it in a garage if at all possible. It'll grab MUCH less. When the clay grabs you get angry, and yeah. Not fun. :?

Actually, thats one thing I havent done to the new Bonny, Im thinking, Wash, clay, polish and wax. That will make it shine like no other!

I think I am missing something with the clay bar (I have the Mothers (I think) kit)...it ends up just making me mad and not doing a whole lot. I know from the way you guys talk that it should be working better then it does. Any thoughts?
