yeah, i was told that they might start to pit if i ran mine in the winter...so i don't.

Well I took mine off for all of the same reason ya'll have mentioned.
Damage, Pitting, Salt, Performance tires, and Tire life.
But one of the main reason was, IT COLD!
If I had my 18" chrome on I would have to clean them everytime
I stop due to the show and salt to keep them looking good. That
why you by chrome for. For the Look! And I'm not going to freeze
trying to keep them BLANG BLANG. So to keep from catching frost
bite I changed to the stock and I can clean them when I clean the
car.
