Default Chrome?? paint??

OK I'm sure you have seen the cars that have the chrome painted door handles, I know its not chrome but what kind of paint is it? I what to have my handles painted like that but dont know if its a DIY or if i have to take it in. Even if i cant do it myself i would like to know what type of paint it is because i cant even find it. all i can find is something they call chrome auto paint but its not the same.

If you really wanted to , chrome tape would be easiest....

Chrome paint isn't very shiney at all.

Or, for a more stock look,, you could get the really shiney silver leaf from a craft store. It'* much thinner than the chrome tape, so it forms better to any curves. Plus, you could go Chrome, silver, gold, almost any metallic finish you want....
